Noah Litchfield

Noah Litchfield, 8^th child of Godfrey and Lucy:

1830 Birth: Noah Litchfield, son of Godfrey and Lucy, was baptized 29 Aug 1830 in Belper, Derbyshire, England. [1] The family was still living in Belper where Godfrey was farming.

1841 Census: Noah (10) was living with his parents and three brothers, Godfrey (15), Octavius (8) and George (2) in Heage, Derbyshire, England.[2]

1849 Death: Noah died at the age of 19.  He was buried on 2 Nov 1849 at St Peter’s Church (Heage Chapelry).[3]  Death Notice for Noah Litchfield was published in The Derby Mercury in Nov 1849.  Under the Deaths Column it reads “On the 29^th Oct sincerely regretted by his relatives and friends, Noah, the fifth son of Godfrey Litchfield, Heage Commons, aged 19.”[4]  He did not marry.  No known children.
