Noah Litchfield



Noah Litchfield, 8th child of Godfrey and Lucy:
1830 Birth: Noah Litchfield, son of Godfrey and Lucy, was baptized 29 Aug 1830 in Belper, Derbyshire, England. [1] The family was still living in Belper where Godfrey was farming.

1841 Census: Noah (10) was living with his parents and three brothers, Godfrey (15), Octavius (8) and George (2) in Heage, Derbyshire, England.[2]

1849 Death: Noah died at the age of 19.  He was buried on 2 Nov 1849 at St Peter’s Church (Heage Chapelry).[3]  Death Notice for Noah Litchfield was published in The Derby Mercury in Nov 1849.  Under the Deaths Column it reads “On the 29th Oct sincerely regretted by his relatives and friends, Noah, the fifth son of Godfrey Litchfield, Heage Commons, aged 19.”[4]  He did not marry.  No known children.
